Toshiko falls in love with a handsome soldier trapped outside his time, who unwittingly holds the key to saving the world. At an old hospital haunted by the ghosts of 1918, a crisis foreseen by Torchwood 90 years previously is about to reach its climax. Time zones are colliding. Tosh and Tommy visit the Norwegian Church in Harbour Drive, Cardiff Bay. Outside you can see the Captain Scott Memorial Statue which was built to commerate the 100th anniversary of the 'Age of Antarctic Discovery'.

03. Kissing on the pier - 21.19



Tommy finally gets to kiss Tosh. These scenes were filmed on Penarth Pier, near Cardiff, which was constructed in 1894. A popular attraction with visitors, it is still a port of call for steamers.
