Episode 10 - From out of the rain
When an old cinema re-opens, past horrors emerge to stalk the streets of Cardiff. As bodies are found in a state between life and death, Torchwood must act fast. Who are the Night Travellers? And how can Jack and his team capture these mysterious killers?
01. Night Travellers - 00.27
The opening scene of the Night Travellers was filmed in Bute Park which starts at Cardiff Castle and runs along the River Taff. The park is named after the Marquess of Bute, a major landowner in Cardiff who donated the park to the city of Cardiff.
02. Electro - 04.01
The 'Electro' Theatre in this episode is actually The Paget Rooms in Penarth. The same location was used in the 'Small Worlds' episode in the first series. Quick way to get there is to proceed to Penarth Town Centre but just before the shops there is a turning right into Hickman Road. At the very end of the road turn right at the traffic lights and then first left into Station Approach. The Paget Rooms is on the right hand side. Before Gwen, Ianto and Owen reach the theatre they run down a road towards it. The road is Station Road with the now refurbished Westbourne Hotel on the corner - that was covered in scaffolding during filming while undergoing extensive building work. - Thanks to Heather Douglas for this information.
03. At the movies - 06.01
The internal shots of the Electro were filmed in the Phoenix Cinema. This is located on Church Road, Pentre, Rhondda Cynon Taff.
04. Tea time - 13.43
'Windsor Tea Rooms' in Penarth is situated at the top end of the Arcade in Windsor Road and opposite the Royal Mail Delivery Office. Thanks once again to Heather Douglas for this information.
05. Bath time - 24.39
